Savings Stack Calculator: See What Stacking Actually Saves You
Plug in what you actually spend in a normal month. This uses the same real-world rates from our app reviews, not the inflated numbers apps put in their own ads, to estimate what stacking Ibotta, Fetch, Upside, Rakuten and card rewards would actually put back in your pocket.
| Category | What stacks | Est. back |
|---|---|---|
| Groceries | Ibotta + Fetch + card rewards | $0 |
| Gas | Upside + card rewards | $0 |
| Online shopping | Rakuten + card rewards | $0 |
| Dining out | Dining stack (see guide) | $0 |
How to actually hit this number
The calculator shows the ceiling. Getting there takes the same four habits we use ourselves: Ibotta checked before a grocery run, Upside claimed before every fill-up, Rakuten clicked before anything online, Fetch scanning every receipt regardless. Full walkthrough in the stacking guide, and the dining-specific version in the dining stack.
FAQ
Are these numbers guaranteed? No, they're estimates built from our own tested average payout rates, real results depend on your store, region, offers available and how consistently you use each app. Why does dining have the highest rate? Because it stacks the most layers at once, an airline dining program, a booking app like Seated, and card rewards, all on the same check. See the full breakdown. Do I need all the apps to get close to this number? No, even using two or three consistently gets you most of the way there, the calculator assumes full stacking as the ceiling.
