CouponsAndDeals.com is a small savings site run by Mike. This page says what the site collects, who handles it, and how to reach us about it. It covers what the site actually does today, and we will update it when that changes.
What we collect
Usage data. The site uses Google Analytics 4. It records standard visit data such as the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and how you arrived, using cookies or similar identifiers. We use it to see which pages are useful. Google explains its side in its own privacy materials, and offers a browser add-on to opt out.
Newsletter sign-up. If you enter your email address in the sign-up box, we receive that address. The form is handled through Netlify, which hosts the site.
Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your name if you give one, your email address, the topic you pick and your message. This also goes through Netlify.
Affiliate tracking. Some links on the site are referral or affiliate links, as the disclosure at the bottom of every page says. The site loads a tracking script from impact.com, an affiliate network, and when you click through to a partner such as an app or a cashback service, that partner can set its own cookies and apply its own privacy policy.
Server logs. Netlify serves the site and keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested.
What stays in your browser
The savings calculator runs in your browser. The spending amounts and cards you enter are not sent to us and are not stored.
Cookies
Google Analytics and the affiliate tracking can set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works without them.
Removing your information
To be taken off the newsletter list, or to have a message or email address you sent us deleted, use the contact page and say what you want removed.
Children
The site is written for adults and is not aimed at children under 13.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
