The stack-the-bonuses move: the fixed amounts on this board are Chime's $50, Acorns' $20 and Rakuten's $10, which comes to $80 once, and Chime's cash back can add up to $300 more if you spend on the card. Upside, Fetch, Ibotta and Seated vary, so check the app before you count them. Our one rule still holds: only sign up for things you'll actually use.
How we rank these
Payout relative to effort, whether the requirement is something you'd do anyway, and whether the app is worth keeping after the bonus (each one links to our full review). We drop bonuses that require buying stuff you don't need, and we note when an amount changed since the last update.
Recently changed or expired
Changes since the August board:
- Chime: the board said about $100 for a direct deposit in the first 45 days. Chime's terms now say $50 for a $500+ direct deposit within 34 days, plus up to $300 in cash back over 90 days, and the offer runs through January 31, 2027.
- Rakuten: the board said $30 for spending $30. Rakuten's own welcome bonus terms now say $10 for spending $25 within 90 days of signing up.
- Seated: the board said about $10. We could not find a current Seated page that confirms a signup bonus, so the number is gone until we can.
- Acorns: still $20, but the requirement is a recurring investment of $5 or more, and it pays out weeks after you qualify.
